A crumpled water bottle, rendered in copper and mounted on a brick. What was originally waste is here elevated onto a plinth and crafted in one of the most durable materials we have.

The copper has developed a greenish patina, settling into the bottle's folds and grooves, highlighting every dent and depression in the plastic's original form. Against the brick's warm reddish-brown color and rough surface, a contrast arises between two materials, both with a history behind them.

Trash Art is a series from Anonymous Artist, where single-use packaging is given a permanent form. The work questions what we discard and what we preserve, without wagging a finger. It works equally well on a shelf, on a windowsill, or as a conversation piece in the office.

Each piece is unique and will vary in patina, color play, texture, and surface. The brick is an integral part of the artwork, and since the bricks vary, the dimensions will differ from piece to piece.
