Brass Christmas Ornament with Tall Ship
A round brass ornament from Anonym Kunstner featuring a three-masted tall ship in full sail. The ship cuts through the waves with its pennant flying, while snowflakes fill the circle around it.
The brass has a brushed surface with a warm, golden glow, and the ornament comes with a natural-colored jute string. Over time, brass develops a deeper patina, which can be polished back if you prefer a shiny finish.
Recycling and Rock and Roll
The brass originates from drum cymbals broken during concerts and rehearsals at Elværket in Helsingør. The metal has thus already lived a life in a drum kit before becoming a Christmas ornament.
The ship motif is also found in the artist's bookends and wine stopper, so the three can be given as a set or complemented over time. An ideal Christmas gift for someone who loves the sea, sailing, and maritime motifs.
