Twisted Crisp Butter Straws with Gruyère Cheese
The cheesemonger's favourite. In the small town of Champagne in Jura-Nord vaudois in Switzerland, these cheese straws are baked with plenty of butter and other carefully chosen ingredients by the family firm Cornu SA.
Gruyère is a Swiss cheese named after the Gruyères district in the canton of Fribourg. The cheese has a sweet, nutty flavour, and the straws go well with both cheese and charcuterie.
