Sigtuna - thin bread crisps
With Sigtuna Tunnbröd you get a crunchy revival and reinvention of the much-loved Swedish flatbread tradition. A particular fermentation method gives the cracker its desirable airiness.
Another of Tastefulness's snack favourites. This time we are in Sweden, where besides crispbread they are known for their tunnbröd. Tunnbröd can be soft or crisp and comes in many varieties depending on the choice of grain, raising agent and rolling pin. The dough is made from different combinations of wheat, barley, oats and rye. These are made from wheat and rye flour and baked with yeast.
Sigtuna is Sweden's oldest town and a place where old traditions meet modern innovation - and it is here that they rooted their passion for food.
