The salmon is gently grilled to bring out its natural flavour and give it a delicate, lightly smoked note.
The unique position of the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic - with clear water, stable cool temperatures, strong currents and sheltered fjords - creates ideal conditions for salmon. Here people have lived in harmony with the sea for generations and developed a deep respect for its resources. Those traditions are reflected in the high standards of local fish farming. This salmon from FANGST is gently flash-grilled and preserved in cold-pressed rapeseed oil, which brings out its distinctive quality and flavour.
