A fairytale forest in a bag. Magic Forest is soft, juicy fruit gums shaped like gnomes, butterflies, owls, mushrooms and other magical creatures, in six flavours: lemon, cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and apple.
Honey makes up 5 % of the recipe, giving the gums a rounded, floral sweetness that ordinary sweets simply don't have. The texture is softer and more yielding than classic gummies, so they give way easily as you bite.
This is where Hey Yum stands apart: the colours come from fruit and plants rather than colourings. Apple, carrot, blackcurrant, elderberry, cherry and raspberry account for the reds and purples, turmeric for the yellow, and spirulina algae extract for the greens and blues. No artificial colourings, no artificial flavourings, all certified organic.
The brand comes from Danish company Sweet Intentions, who set out to make sweets without the things you normally find in a bag of gummies. Magic Forest is gluten free and lactose free, but contains gelatine and honey, so it is neither vegan nor vegetarian. If you want the vegan version, choose Love Spring.
