An empty drinking yogurt bottle, rendered in copper and stood against a brick. The bottle appears almost as it came from the shelf, only compressed at the bottom, and with the screw cap still on. It is the small deformation that reveals it has been used and discarded.

The copper has developed a light, turquoise-green patina, which lies like an even veil over the soft surfaces and breaks into darker streaks down the side. Against the brick's warm reddish-brown color and rough surface, a contrast arises between two materials, both of which have a history behind them.

Junk Art is a series by Anonym Kunstner, where disposable packaging is given a permanent form. The work raises a question about what we discard and what we preserve, without wagging a finger.

Each piece is unique and will vary in patina, color play, texture, and surface. The brick is part of the artwork, and as the bricks are different, the dimensions will vary from piece to piece.
