Crumbles made with the wonderful Swedish Västerbottensost
A crisp and flavourful cheese snack - perfect with an aperitif or homemade lobster soup.
These little crumbles are a true delight, for example with a glass of chilled wine or a drink. The mild, buttery-crisp cheese bites are baked with 30% Västerbottensost, and at Tastefulness we find them slightly addictive.
Sweden's national cheese, Västerbottensost, is produced by Norrmejerier at a small dairy in Burträsk, Västerbotten, 800 km north of Stockholm. The cheese is made from cow's milk supplied by dairy farmers in the surrounding region of northern Sweden. Västerbottensost has been made using the same method since 1872.
